Is this kosher? I wasn't even aware of it when I first picked it up. I took it to the range, and it worked just fine. No issues whatsoever.
Upon arriving home, I looked at the (now) decock-only lever and realized it was from a USP. I still have my original parts. Other thing I noticed is that, unlike my USP .45 Tactical, upon decocking the hammer, the lever doesn't quite go to the full up position on its own. It sort of stops about 10 degrees from horizontal. I can then manually move it up fully, and it will stay horizontal after that, but it will not move up fully horizontal by itself, again unlike my USP which I also had converted to V3 several years ago.
I'm guessing this isn't the recommended/approved way to get a V3 setup on an HK45.
Can I have him use my HK45 lever with the V3 detent piece?
Please advise before I go all postal on his (and my buddy's for recommending him) a$$.
Thanks,
Jeff
