Is the grip on a USP .45 bigger than on a USP 40? And is the USP 9 smaller than the 40 or the same?

I shot a USP.40 today and was impressed the most with the stability of the thing. The front sight stayed on target like a boat anchor in follow up shots. But the grip was about as big as i want it to be any bigger and it would be a no go for me, Im trying to decide what caliber to get a USP in and this could be the deciding factor.

Yeah, it is bigger. The USP45 grip is larger and the gun is dimensionally larger. The USP40 & USP9 are dimensionally the same as well as the grip. That's part of the reason I prefer the USP40. My hands are "medium" size and I'm more comfortable with the USP40. I love shooting the USP45 but it does feel "big" in my hands.

Dont rule the 45 out yet though. Try and hold one, and shoot one if you can. Gotta love .45

I’m pretty sure the difference in grip size is the length and not the circumference. If so, if you can grip the 9/40, the 45 shouldn't be a problem grip wise.
