HK45 Serial Number Question

In looking at the HK firearms for sale and looking at the HK45 I saw the photo and at the end of the serial number it had the letters "DE". In reviewing my serial number 128-0036XX on my HK45 it doesn't have the "DE" after it so here's my question even thought on the frame is say's "Made in Germany".

At what serial number did HK start putting the letters "DE" at the end of the actual serial number ?

The "DE" is new to HK firearms and was put there to comply with a UN(?) requirement to show where the firearm was manufactored. HK has been placing the "DE" on the firearms for about the last 9 to 12 months.

All HK45's have been made in Germany with the exception of the new HK45's being produced at HK Inc's facility in New Hampshire which will say Made in the US/USA on them.
