Hey there kids, I would appreciate some advice/help.

Found a P7M13 locally, refinished in nickel/Robar/Np3 type finish. Three mags, no box or accessories. The finish work is perfection. Condition is A+ inside and out.

Chantilly marked. 7XXXX serial.

Thoughts on a $1695 price? Thought it may be right in the ballpark, maybe a little high?

Thanks so much.

Sounds pretty fair, especially if its in the shape you describe...

At that price, you shouldn't be upside down in it when the time comes to sell...

with NP3 & 3 mags, it is a good deal. I would check out the functioning of the gun for potential weak parts since you do not know the round count. FP bushing is the more common area of problem

Not that I am one to buy and sell, but does the lack of any accessories or box make a big difference to you?

Lack of accessories & box: bothers me not in the least, unless you are a collector. You can always find a box on e-bay, if you really want one. Cleaning? Any tool will work. I am not even sure the scrapper is absolutely essential: I suggest using a bamboo skewer instead, honest no joke. A new scrapper costs aout $50, which is absurd.

I completely agree with this statement, however, when one has a large pile of anything, with a fairly sizeable investment, we ARE collectors. No?

The scrapers are IMO absolutely essential. You'll eventually get enough carbon buildup in the bottom that it will either not rack back far enough, or it will start sticking open.

Even with the metal scraper, it takes quite a bit of force to scrape it out of the bottom, no way a bamboo skewer will get that stuff out.

If one cleans his P7 everytime after the shooting session & presoak w/ carbon remover, I do not think it is necessary to use the scraper. If one lets the carbon build-up gets too far ahead, yes, it is. HK does not recommend cleaning for 500-1000 rounds. AND the carbon scraper is not an integral issue item.
I am also very hesitant to use anything stronger than a bronze brush on the cylinder.

There have been posts made even by people who use the scraper asking "Why does my P7 slide stick back?" or "My P7 is failing to chamber a new round." The problem was almost always that they were not pushing the scraper all the way down to the bottom, and oil/carbon crust was building up at the bottom of the cylinder.

And since HK supplies the scraper, I'm not concerned that it's going to damage the cylinder.

But if you like using toothpicks and soaking it instead of a 10 second pass with a scraper, then that's fine. I usually shoot all 4 of mine in a session and don't like spending hours cleaning them afterwards.
