Well,,I picked up a new P30 LEM today. It is too stiff for my trigger taste. Measures at 8.3 lb on LEM,,,maxed out my digital gage on non-LEM full trigger pull to the point of "error"
I want a lighter pull. Are there lighter springs out yet? P/N ?
I am confused too,,,,this is listed on box as V2. I thought V2 was a DA/SA with safety on right side? These "V" numbers perplexe me some days, after I think I figured them out,,I'm wrong.

Check out Big Bore's thread here........
http://hkpro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40627
The thread is for the P2000 and USPc but it should be the same for the P30 as the internals are basically the same between the guns.
Give Travis at HK customer service a call on Monday to order the correct parts that you will need.

Well,, I looked at that thread. I took my USP compact and the new P30 apart side by side to see if it applied.
The TRS's are different. The P30 spring is opposite, in the way the end of the spring comes up on the right,,to contain the slide release lever,,and the end is much longer then my uspc spring.

I guess I'll try the P2000 (uspc) springs. I looked at frames, and I think it will take a "right side up" spring or a "left side up" spring. That's my theory anyhow,,, :)
The opening is different where the TRS spring holds the slide release, as it fits in a slot to hold it from moving sideways. There is an opening on the left that is similar to the uspc,,which I believe may work for the uspc spring. The trigger has a slot on both sides for the other end of the spring, so it will take either one.
The thing it will change is,,,the slide release will NOT be held in any more and will come out of the gun when disassembling.

It's only a problem, if you start answering yourself.
I do believe I read somewere that the LEM trigger is around that 7.5-8.lb range. I also thought I read somwere that they have different springs that will bring that down to around 5.
Hope this helps

Yea, just figuring out which ones is the problem I have. It is a new trigger for P30 and I don't think anybody knows which springs to use yet. The P30 is slightly different then the usp's that everyone here was doing.
I have figured out that the old way will work, but with loosing the slide release lever retention as in previous posts. Waiting for monday to call HK to see if they have a P/N for direct (correct) replacement.

Try to get P30 V3 trigger return spring. This will sure make your LEM lighter, ad will fit. P2000/USP/USPc trigger return springs are different that P30 one.

I'm also looking to lighten up my V2 LEM and haven't found the correct spring either.

I spoke with Travis today - they do not have a light LEM trigger return spring for the P30 yet - he's thinking at least 6 months...

I ordered a V1 and got a V2 and figured I'd deal with it later. This sucks :(

Just curious as to where you ordered a V1 P30?

Stoke's Classic Arms. They were selling them on gunbroker and I contacted them by phone since he told me he would give me a better deal. He said he only had LEM and Light LEM. I requested the Light LEM and got a V2. I even wrote Light LEM on the payment and the letter in enclosed with it.
I think he might have had a V3 DAO and a V2 and called the V2 a light LEM. He nevered used V1, V2, V3. I just assumed I was getting a V1 and it showed up a V2.
I love the P30 LEM but would like to lighten the trigger pull as my tendon is torn and my trigger pull is somewhat inhibitied by it.

Ouch, hope it gets better. Anyway, I'm on the search to convert to the lighter one along with some other members of the forum so I'll keep ya posted.
