P7 Saxon marked ?

Just a question on the CDNN saxon marked P7's. Do we know if these were once delivered to East Germany and put to use?

CDNN P7s marked w/ Nds (Lower Saxony, a West german State) were issued to the State Police of Lower Saxony through the BMI (Federal Ministry of Interior), which has jurisdiction over all the Sate & Border police. I seriously doubt that the pistols were ever sent to East Germany(politically incorrect for both sides)

Funny, I googled Saxony which brings you to East Germany, and Lower Saxony brings you to the northeast. I didn't even think of Niedersachsen as Saxony. I spent my cold war tour in Baden Wurtemburg.

Nds=Niedersaschen=Lower Saxony, in then west germany, but Saxony was in then East germany
