I'm new to the forums. I bought a P2000sk 9mm V3 (AI/08) today at a local gunshop here in Nashville. I paid $995 for it, registration, and a 25ct box of Hornaday Critical Defense. This is my second H&K, I bought a 45c (AH) from the same gunshop back in May last year. I was kinda hoping to find a V2 but I could not find one., so I bought the V3 instead. Most likely the P2000sk will replace my PPK/S as my carry. I'll try to post pics later this week.

Awesome choice!! I have the same except in .40 cal. I know you'll love it, and I'm using mine as regular carry as well.

Congrats on your purchase of your second HK.. If I ever get a P2000sk it will be in 9mm... And Nice PPK/S I have one just like it in stainless, great little guns they are easy to CCW and have alot of history behind them...

Wow that's a great trio!! I think my next purchase will be the HK45. I was thinking about a Colt 1911 which you can't go wrong, but that HK45 looks really awesome too. I always liked the PPK/S, seems like a great little CCW or ankle backup. Another good one like that Walther is the Colt Mustang .380.

Thanks, I love my PPK/S. I mainly carried it in a Fobus ankle holster and sometimes in their roto-paddle if I am wearing shorts.

Nice choice. I recently got myself a P2000sk, in 9mm with V2/LEM trigger. I love this little gun and I'm sure you will too. My next purchase will probably be a 45c, just like yours:)

How much did "registration" cost you? The reason I ask is because the price you paid seems kind of high. Here in Indiana we don't have to register handguns, so I have no idea what it normally costs. I paid $800 for mine OTD, and it came with Meprolight night sights and three magazines. Either way you got a fantastic gun that IMHO is worth what you paid. Enjoy it and shoot the hell out of it!

I have the exact same gun... very nice pickup...

I paid less though!!! :D

(from a guy in TN, no less!)

Registration was $10, plus $84 worth of taxes, and $22 25ct of Hornaday Critical Defense JHP. It all adds up in the end, but I think it was worth it and I am happy with it. Originally the p2000sk was $919 otd but since I was paying in cash, the guy lowered it to $845. Though I paid quite more for my 45c and 25ct box of Federal Hydroshock JHP last year. I believe I paid around $1,100-1200 for it.

I do wish my p2000sk came with night sights like my 45c did though. :( I may consider Trijicon night sights at a late date and time.

My SK .40 V3 cost $830, then $50 in taxes and $10 for the state police background check. Other than that there is no registration fee here in PA.

CDNN guys - $699 for the V3 .357sig/.40 s&w combo...shipped, no tax (I'm not in Texas) and add $30 for nics/transfer. $729 for 2 calibers in one - check it out if you are looking.

I was looking at a P2000 V3 today only in 40S&W. It was going for $950. I would have snagged it, but I'm not a huge .40 fan in a small frame pistol. Nice gun though. Hope you enjoy yours.

I would have been all over that, but I wanted mine in 9mm. Otherwise, you can't beat that deal.
