I did a search and really got nothing related to pistols (I tried 3 times).

Anyway, I usually range practice with 115gr of various types of ammo...mostly Independence Brand and occasionally with TAP in my P30 (which is 124gr.) I usually don't use +P.
My newb question is that I have a chance to buy some bulk Speer Gold Dot HP 124gr +P from a local friend fairly cheap and was wondering if that is OK to shoot in both my P30 and P7M8s? What grains do you guys usually shoot in these two types of pistols?

124 Grain +P should be fine. That is what I shoot in most of my HK'S.

You should no issues shooting 124+p through your HK's. I have shot a few thousand rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124gr +p through my guns with zero issues. I also find it to be one of the most accurate rounds especially out of my P7M8.

Thanks! I tend to baby my M8s a bit since they are my favorites. I only sleep with them on occasion though:43:
