There is a spot on the bottom of the gun (where you put in the magazine) you can stick a key in there and lock the gun up. You can do it that way instead of racking the slide and putting the actual lock through the gun itself.

Just be careful guys. If you engage the internal lock, forget, and forcefully rack the slide you will end up bending the hammer strut.
I am not saying don't use the lockout (I personally never touch it, I will cable lock a gun if it needs locking) but be mindful that it could cause damage to your pistol if the slide is racked with it in the "on" posistion.
