Finally pulled the trigger and joined your ranks...

After much research, many questions and great advice here I've found, bought and brought my HK home.

I ended up getting a used USP 45 Fullsize. I was torn between the HK45c and the USP Tactical .40 (both around 850 delivered with all FFL fees etc) until I found this pistol locally for 600 all in.

The pistol is in excellent (95+%) condition. It has an AB manufacture code. It came with brand new (installed last month) trijicon night sites along with the case and 2 10 round mags.

I'll be taking it to the range tomorrow and will report back.

In the meantime I've ordered

* new mags -- 3 12 round w/ finger rest mags (49.99 each) and 2 more 10 round mags (24.99 each) -- from CDNN
* blackhawk socom case (63 shipped from OpticsPlanet)
* Weapon Shield and Lithi Shield
* Gunvault Mini Deluxe handgun safe

All of which will be delivered on Tuesday (the safe is here already).

Now I just need to get the cleaning kit (nylon toothbrush, bore, patches) and I'm all set.

P.S. Before I'm asked, yes I am considering the Match trigger kit. I've talked to HK CS. It'll cost 200.00 including parts/labor/shipping. I'm going to put a couple hundred rounds through it first.

Nice purchase. I have 2 USP 45, I bought one new and one used. I love them both and neither one has ever malfunctioned and I've owned the one since 1996 or so. If you are looking into a match trigger you might want to take it a little farther and look into the "Combat Competition" (Match LEM) trigger setup. I have it on one of my USP 45 and it is awesome. The other USP is LEM with the P209266 Trigger Return Spring and it is a really nice setup as well.
