Can a USP double action only, Variant 7 I believe, be changed over to the LEM? Would the LEM have an advantage or smoother/lighter trigger pull? Thank you.

Yes it could be converted over to a LEM and yes, the first trigger pull would be much, much lighter. In case of a misfire and a second trigger pull the LEM reverts to a standard DAO trigger.

Glad to help a fellow HK owner get away from the DAO trigger. A LEM, or match trigger would be so much nicer at the range, or for carry. Get her done and enjoy. :)

Shakey,

How long does it take to get used to LEM?

Took my DA/SA P30 and father's P30 LEM to the range today. Definitely shot the DA/SA better though not by a lot. (subjectively, say 10%) Obviously first DA shot was less accurate but the SA trigger pull seemed lighter and less travel than LEM.

A dealer has a P30 LEM for me if I want to trade but not sure I have enough info to decide. I want to eventually shoot IPDA (only for fun) and could modify to "light" LEM but have never shot one.

I actually converted my USPf 40 LEM to a match trigger. I much prefer the DA/SA of the match trigger after shooting the LEM. While the LEM is OK the match trigger SA is sublime. I've carried cocked and locked for a long time so a V1 setup works well for me. JMHO
