I stopped in at a local outfitters store and they had a USP .40 with a stainless slide and a USP Compact 9mm with a stainless slide. Both were AK date codes, making them '09s. Has HK started importing stainless USP's again? I have three stainless USP's with date codes from 96 to 00 and the two in the store have two distinct differences: 1) the HK on the slide is gold like the proof markings and dates codes; and 2) on the grip it just has "USP" on it where my older ones have "HK USP" on the grips. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I talked to my regular gun shop and he knew nothing about it and is going to do some digging with his distributors on monday.

FYI-they were pricey...$915 for the FS and $950 for the compact!

One fellow on here bought one the other day.

I was curious about how much they would cost. Thanks for the info.

My local gun dealer knows nothing about it either.

But he has a HK45 for $929.00 and a HK45C for the same price...

I bought the new production stainless USP's. I got the .40 what a great gun. I got mine with two hicap mags for $850. He is a friend of mine and I got that price. So $900 or so for a new one from a shop seems decent...
