These guys are pretty well the standard for tritium replacement, is this the shop you were thinking of? http://www.tooltechgunsight.com/index.php?option=com_weblinks&catid=8&Itemid=4

I just ordered a set from Optics Planet for my P2000 and plan to have my local gun shop install them. They charge 45 bucks to put them on. I went the route of buying online because it's cheaper. I chose to have them installed locally in the even they need adjusting post-install, I won't need to mail my gun off.

I know that doesn't answer your question exactly... But, I figured it at the very least may give you another option.
EDIT: The other point I was trying to make there was that I didn't even know my local gun shop did installs until I over heard them talking to another customer. Your's might too.

I can highly recommend the Tooltechgunsight inserts. My HK45 has them and they are perfect.

Did you get them installed on the factory HK45 standard sights? Just put tritium where the luminova is. If so, i guess your stuck with the 3 dot configuration, or can they get creative and add a bar in the rear (just darken out the rear 2 dots). Just curious, thanks.

Mine were simply Trijicon trit inserts to replace the luminova. I also stuck with the standard - three dot configuration.

Same here. I went with yellow rears and a green front. I am very pleased with the work and the vials are holding up well.

I have yellow rears and a green front on my USP-C .357sig. I like being able to tell my front from rear sights in the dark, just makes aiming easier.
Yellow lasts a long time too, so I'm very happy with my Trijicons.

Yup, just that little bit of contrast helps me. I have orange rears on my USPC40, but after about 6 years they are starting to dim. Yellow is the way to go.
