Grayguns' website states they offer a competition reduced reset action package for second generation USP's only.
How does a person find out if their USP is second generation or not, and what's the difference between the first and second generation? Is one theoretically more desireable for carry than the other?

The hammer/trigger parts are not interchangeable.
