USP SD or USP Tactical?

Debating between the two (Tac in .45). Looking for input/thoughts on which one to get next. Not a caliber debate. Not going to put 1000's of rounds through it so that ammo price will be a deciding factor. Not buying one for a special purpose; just to have. Leaning toward the match trigger of the tactical. Like the idea of the SD with jet funnel also. Not sure I will ever get around to getting a suppressor but who knows (although if I ever SBR the clone I will also look at that). If you have both, which do you like better?

I'm a .45 guy, but you are on the edge. Get a uspt .40, throw a jet funnel on there. And I think the .40 has a match trigger on it. I think the 9 just didn't.

Yup, the difference between the SD and tactical is no match trigger on the SD and no o-ringed barrel on the SD.
And the 45T is a bit bigger.

yupyup, and he doesn't seem to care about caliber. The .40 is the same size, and you get so much more for the money. Also, I hear that it's easier to suppress a .40. I don't know how true that is compared to a .45, but you get the drift!

Thanks for the input. I was thinking about the .40 and even tempted on one that just sold for 1000 with jet funnel and 6 mags not far from me. I've decided to get the .45 to balance out the family (and keep my ammo stores limited to 9mm, .45, and .223). I will get a full size USP 9 somewhere down the road.

I don't think that you can get a jet funnel for a .45.

wow, I don't know If I could have passed on that. Considering the jet funnel mags cost 50-70 apiece.

Exactly. Even my fuzzy math couldn't make the .40 with jet funnel and 6 mags a bad deal. Made the gun about 600and extras worth about 400, but I didn't really want a 40 so couldn't pull the trigger. Thanks again for he input.

Can't go wrong with the .45! That's what I got, and I've never doubted her!
