Looking to buy a tactical for suppression but can't decide which caliber 40 or 45. Like the 40 because amount of rounds and heard the hi cap 9mm mag can hold 27 in 40. What kind of penetration can you get with the 40 anything like or comparable to .357. Local gun sales man said the 40 is the hardest to silence is this true. Don't know much about this and would like pros and cons of both rounds. Will also use gun for practical shooting. I'm shooting a 1911 now so is the variant 1 trigger most like that.
