Are removing the grips from our P7's or P7M8 problematic? It seems the cocking mechanism is getting a little gritty (I've never had them off) when shooting and I thought I might take them off tomorrow when cleaning. Opinions would be appreciated as well as any tips if necessary.
Thanks,
JimK

Jim ... grip removal on the P7s is quite straightforward.
Remove the slide and grip screw, but mind that star washer on the grip, as they grow legs ...
Place your right index fingernail beneath the upper left corner of the grip, then gently lift (1/8") and slide the grip forward and downward until the grip's retaining lip (3rd pic) clears the frame ... same process for the starboard grip and reverse the process to reinstall the grips
