Can someone tell me about the combat competition trigger? I'm currently shooting a P30 and P2000sk (both 9's) both in V3. What I'm not familiar with is the description given by H/K as "LEM coupled with match trigger" My intent is to use a gun for target and competition (still a rookie and still learning)

The CC trigger has the action of any LEM trigger but has match components. The take up is about 1.5lbs and the break is around 4 to 4.5. In the fullsize USP it uses the match trigger giving it a shorter reset due to the trigger stop.

It is DAO and described perfectly above by STW: LEM with match trigger components. VERY nice, if you like LEM.

The pistol you're asking about is one of a dozen LEM-equipped USPs/USP Compacts/P2000s/HK45 I am personally familiar with. By far, it is the nicest. I bought it on a whim, and used it once in a three-gun match. The trigger and mag capacity made it a GREAT game gun; if that's what you're looking for, the CC is made for it.

I am curious, is this trigger to light for a CCW weapon. Is it usally accompanied with a saftey unlike the "standard LEM"

No it is not too light for a CCW pistol, and it does not come standard with any control levers. None are needed with the LEM. Awesome trigger setup!!!!!!

I carry it as a CCW and a main duty LEO weapon...
