Went to the range yesterday to shoot my HK Match pistol for the first time and noticed that I could feel the recoil spring action or something like that (hard to describe but it was kind of a spongy feeleing) after each shot. Is this normal because of the barrel weight as I have not felt this with any of my other USP'S?

Yeah baby! Now you know why I love the Match over the other high end USP's!

Does your response mean that it is normal? Kind of confused by your response.

My buddy's Elite kind of does that too - it's like you can feel that whole 6" slide working back and forth - kinda cool but takes some getting used to. I think both those guns - Match and Elite, become a bit more ammo sensitive due to those big ol slides.

The slide on the Match is the same slide used on all USP .45s, and the Elite slide is actually lighter than the Expert's slide due to the angled cuts on the side of the slide. Therefore, the Match or Elite are no more sensitive to ammo than are any other USP .45.

could it be the delayed blowback?
