Took my brand new (to me) HK45c out Saturday for my conceal carry course. Also brought my trusty USP FS just in case. Didn't need it though as the HK45c performed flawlessly. Really impressed me how easy it was to shoot. I was more accurate with its big brother, but shot a nice fist sized group of 20 to qualify easily. Not too shabby for the first time out with it. One thing I did notice was the trigger reset seemed a little longer than on the USP. Anyone notice this? Also it seemed to have a little cleaner break than the USP. Looking forward to getting some more rounds through her this weekend.

Good job, and glad you like it. I'm looking into one myself here soon so, maybe compare notes. And i have heard about the trigger reset but never shot one.

Yeah after reading some other post I am wondering if I am having the trigger reset issue due to the wrong spring in there. Anybody have any more info on this? It will reset although it feels pretty sloppy almost. Finally found a snap cap so i can test out with dry firing tonight.
Thanks,

First HK 45C I had had problems with trigger reset. About 20%-30% of the time it would not reset when dry firing. It did always reset when firing. My replacement does not have this problem. However, the reset when dry firing is very slightly weaker feeling than my HK 45.
