It is kinda pricey, but It is the 1st one I have seen not used, and it is marked (AI=08) and (DE). So 1 USP tactical .45, 2 12round mags, and the standard case for $1200. Thoughts, and I really forgot what the DE stands for.....

It does sound a little high but if you want new, and you want factory fresh then it's not too too bad. Make an offer and go from there. Oh and DE stands for 'deutschland'

'New' is a funny one. It's nice to be sure, and it is good for resale if you leave it that way but I'm more of a dollars in the pocket kind of a guy. I'd rather pay less for a gun and then use the 'saving' I got for buying used on mags, ammo or just a couple of very good steak dinners. New is only new once and the extra equipment will be more useful in the long run (the red meat doesn't count though sadly). That said if you'll keep it forever then a few extra dollars right now won't matter in a few years time. Your call amigo...

While I doubt you would ever regret the purchase I think if you look around that gun can be had for about $150-200 less.

I have the same gun and love it. Look around on the internet and get a new one for a little less and pick up 250-300 rounds of ammo for the money you save so you can go straight to the range.

Give CDNN a call I just got my brand new AI for $949. Good luck, the USP .45 Tac is an amazing firearm.

I found a USP 45 Tactical at a gun show for $875 tax included. Had to haggle the dealer a bit tho. Think he was asking $975 plus tax. Gun had never had a box of shells through it. Down side was it had no box/bag and only one 10 round magazine. I got very lucky! Used the extra $$ on magazines... got 7 for $360-ish @ CDNN Sports. That gun chews out the X-ring @ 25 yards. I'm very impressed!

I've seen new ones all over for $1050. Awesome gun - get one! I paid $800 for this one (used) last year.

+1 I agree that it should be around 1K for the gun.

You may want to give ordnanceoutsellers (dot com) a call. They have Tacticals (all calibers) listed on their site for $999. I bought a Kahr PM9 from them about 3 years ago. They have competitive prices, were very nice and provided great customer service.

That was the right place. There's lots of Sig push on the main page. Click the Heckler&Koch link on the left list. Its a plain Jane web site with lists of guns and prices.

The price is a tad high, but the USP .45 Tactical is an outstanding pistol. Just be sure to get a thread protector for it. Checking with CDNN is a good idea. They have good pricing as a rule and I've always enjoyed dealing with them.

I ordered one from CDNN on Monday. They had 4 left. It is an AH date code. This is my first HK, I can't wait until it gets here!

hey navyman, don't go to any of the dealers in virginia beach. any weapons you want, go to the marine corps exchange up on NOB. that's the norfolk naval base. directions: head north on I64 and get off at I564. take the next exit it should be interantional terminal boulevard. head down that road for about 1/2 mile to a mile and it's on your right. i got my tactical there for $1000 no tax. remember it's a military exchange. no taxes. sweet.

one more thing. you must buy a purchase permit in the state of virginia. just go to any police station in norfolk and buy one. they do a basic background check, no big deal. there's one west of north military highway on virginia beach boulevard. you can't get a purchase permit from virginia beach and go to another town to buy a gun. you have to get the permit in the town you plan to buy your gun from.

if you need any other info just pm me.

Thanks! hey do I need to live in VA to buy there? Because I am stationed in MD, which is a hop skip and a jump away. And that sounds like a fine deal to me. I have had too many problems trying to bounce a gun through 2 or 3 ffl's to get it to me and they don't want to help me twice for some reason dispite financial compensation. So If you can get that info I would be very thankfull.

i think you have to be a resident of virginia. i was at the time so it didn't matter. crap, i'm trying to think. this was back in 2002. why don't you try to find a gun shop across the border or just call them and they could let you know. i think i had to bring a bill, cell phone bill, something proving your address.

You MUST live in the state of VA or be stationed here in order to buy a handgun. I have not read all the posts so forgive me if I am repeating something. If you found a gun in VA that you cannot get elsewhere, the only thing you can do is pay for it and have it shipped to a dealer in your state and have it transferred to you there.
