Hey all-

My idea gun is a USPc in .45 or .40 for CCW... but I'd like a fullsize USP as well.

My local shop has a used full size in .40 with a hogue grip and a "MK II" flashlight on it. Problem is, its 1000 bucks!!! How much is the flashlight worth??

Just doesn't seem like a fair price to me unless the light is worth 300+ bucks.

Any thoughts? Thanks

You can get a good light such as a Streamlight TLR1 for $90. I'd pass.

Thats absurd! That flashlight is only worth maybe $200 and that should include the pressure pad in the price!
The Package i would say should not exceed $800 especially being used.
The USP is a nice piece whether new or used but you could have a brand new one for $600-700 and put that same hogue on for $6 plus alot more modern weaponlight for about $100-200 more. Streamlight/Insight/Surefire
Im sure your dealers $1000 price tag doesnt include the nice nylon tac case either?. Probably just a plastic clamshell. IDK just my .02

I would laugh that guys face right out of his own store.

Last UTL Mark II flashlight I bought new was $120. That Hogue grip can be purchased for $9.99. That price is ridiculous. Run away!

Hey will that TLR1/TLR2 fit all size USP's along with the HK45full & compact versions? And P30 also?

Way overpriced for a used USP.

It should be more like $700-$800 largely depending on date code. To me, things like inexpensive tac-lights are "gimmies" when you buy a used gun.

I find shops that don't stock new HK products price any used HK's they receive exceedingly high.

I agree. Tell the seller you were born at night but not last night. That price is absurd. The price for the UTL Mk II NIB is less than $150 and used should not add more than about $80. The exact same light, the M2 by Insight, sells NIB (sans HK markings) for about $125. This seller is looking for a pigeon to pay that price.

RMA: I believe you'd need that slim-line adapter made by GG&G for the TLR-1 or 2 to fit on the USPs.
