Casing Deformation

All just bought my USPC 9mm. Ran a couple hundred rounds through it no problem. I am glad I made the purchase. I notice there is a slight deformation to the top 1 cm or so of each casing. See picture below. Is this normal? Is this safe? The casing from the test fire has the same marks. Thanks in advance.

Completely normal.

If you look in the chamber of you USPc you will see a ring inside the chamber wear you see the mark on your spent shell casing. It is nothing to be worried about.
