I'm currently trying to decide between a Fist #20 adjustable IWB and a Don Hume PCCH for my USP 45c. Has anyone had any experience with either? I had originally bought a Galco Fletch and while it's definitely a great and comfortable holster for carry, it's just not easily concealable. I've always got grip marks sticking out from inside my shirt. The Don Hume PCCH says that it's supposed to be worn strong side behind the hip but does am I to assume that means that it can't go up front IWB comfortably? I still haven't decided if I want to carry front of back so that is also making the decision hard. I'd love to get a Milt Sparks VM2 but the huge wait is killing me. Maybe I can get one if I can find a holster that will just "work" in the meantime. Anyway, back to my original question - any thoughts from you guys (and gals)????

Before you give up on Milt Sparks try Lighting Arms and Top Gun Supply. They both carry VMIIs for popular handguns in stock. I got my VMII for a P226 in 4 days from Lighting Arms.

I used to reccommend T&T Gunleather for a better VMII for less but everyone seems to have found him and the wait went from 4-6 weeks to 16 weeks plus.

Don Hume makes a quality reasonable priced holster and I see no reason you can not move the IWB around. As a weight challenged person behind the hip never worked. I wear at about 2:00 and some trainers love that position.

Is the VMII really all that everyone says it is? I don't know that I've seen a bad review from anyone about it. If it's really that good, then I totally have no problem with cost and wait associated with it.

In any case, I am going to try and contact Lightning Arms and see what they have in stock.

Lightening arms are not expecting anything from Sparks until Fall. I spoke to them Tuesday. Topgun are also out of stock on all VMII's.

Either join the queue or trawl ebay, gunbroker and +/- 10 big gun forums and you may get lucky. The biggest issue that I have noticed on the used market though is that there are not a lot of HK specific holsters offered. There are some, but not many. You actually missed one for your gun that was sold on ebay last week. When you consider the fact that most folks who do wait in line will not want to part with it once it arrives, or if they do they will probably want a premium I would suggest putting an order in with Sparks now and then hunt around if you choose to. You'll have five months to cancel or change your order with MS should you find what you want or change your gun but at least you'll be in the queue.

I'm waiting for two VMIIs that should be here next month and so I can't yet comment as to whether they are worth the wait. I'm also yet to hear a bad word on them though, and so I remain hopeful.

The VMII is well worth the wait. When I got my HK45c, which is almost the same as your USP, Sparks was not taking orders for it as they did not have the mold from the dummy gun makers. I bought an OWB from Ted Blocker as their shop is a mile from my house. I used it until I could order the VMII and then wait the six months to receive it. YES, it was worth the wait. It is the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever worn. I am old and have grown some around the middle and was not a fan of IWB carry. The VMII changed that.

A better alternative to a Sparks VM2 can be found right here (http://www.ttgunleather.com/catalog/i35.html). Wait time is around 4 months now that word got out. Mine should be here any day now:) It's for my P2000sk.

CP, has this bad boy rocked up yet? I ordered from Tim on the 02/23 and the last I heard was that mine should be here Mid-July. Curious to see how likely that is be, and how the product measures up.....:510:

I carry my P229 in a PCCH and find it quite comfortable. It is a quality holster. My other rig is a Milt Sparks VM II that fits my P30. The Sparks holster is worth every penny.

Any time you are talking IWB holsters you owe it to yourself to look at Kramer Leather's IWB offerings. I personally find the IWB II most comfortable. I can carry my Beretta Cougar all day and almost forget it is there. I can carry my Sig P229 all day and be very comfortable also but with the Sig, I know it is there. Good Luck whatever holster you choose.

I don't use the VMII, but Milt Sparks holster are worth the cost and the wait. I have a regular Summer Special II for my G19 (bought from Brownells) and a horse hide SS2 for my USPc45.
