I have a nice HK MK 23 that has some finish wear on the barrel. Does anyone know a reputable company that can refinish the barrel to exact HK specs while leaving the original markings intact?

It'll just get worn again...

Unless you do not shoot it. It could then in turn be passed off as a
like new or low round count weapon. Or would be nice to have done
if owner is a serious collector.

If its shot after the re-finish, the wear will show up again in 100 rounds ... or less.

I have some (Slide, barrel, slide stop) in Cobra Chrome (Tripp) and NP3 (Nickel), the wear shows up in the usual 'high load' areas even with these modern finishes, tho not near as much.

If this Mark23 is a 'shooter', I would keep shooting it, until you decide to have the slide re-done too at the same time. (If you ever do)
