Can someone tell me if Federal NYCLAD ammunition damage the barrel of an HK pistol, leaving much residue inside. I haven’t used before this type of ammunition. Can someone give information about this type of bullets and its performance and if you would use it as a sell defense ammunition.

On the Federal website, the only Nyclad bullet listed is in .38 special, and to my knowledge, HK doesn't make anything that shoots .38 special. If you have some of the really old 9mm stuff they discontinued back 7 or 8 years ago, it will be fine to shoot.

But bullet performance, ballistics, and self-dense worthiness of any particular ammo are beyond the purview of this site, as it is not HK related.

I did buy 3 boxes, of 50 rouds each, of 9mm of 124grains. They are not new but are in perfect conditions.
