next up is a P30... it MIGHT happen as soon as tomorrow, but i doubt it.

then its a threaded P30L barrel to go in the P30...

then I'm building a SBR AR-15 on a Noveske Lower, 10.5" 223 upper AND a 7.5" 9mm upper... so my next 3-grand or so is already spoken for!!!

and then there was the M1A SOCOM... the only thing that will keep me from buying one of those is the fact that it's a 308, which I don't really have any use for.

oh, and allegedly HK is working on a GSG-5 type weapon, which is awesome... since I almost bought a "Navy" version of that today to add a collapsible stock and suppressor onto!!! wow... I can feel my checkbook on fire already.

I was at a show this morning and they had a nice spread of HKs, but all at what was basically full-price. I'm having a hard time justifying $900 for a P30... although the $500 GSGs were VERY compelling, even with $35 in sales tax... the worst part is when you actually HAVE the money on hand, but know you shouldn't spend it!!!

I coulda spent 2-grand without even trying.

Unfortunately no. I was hanging with my crew(wife and kid). Since my checkbook is on double secret probation it's probably good I didn't go up there. I'd only be torturing myself. :8:

I've never actually bought anything from them, and I've only spoken to them at a couple of gun shows, and the two folks I HAVE spoken with (bearded guy and a gal) have been friendly, straight-forward and never given me reason to think poorly of them.

not sure how mentioning a firms name warrants the suggestion that I AM that firm (and therefore a piece of ****), but w/e...

not a great way to make people feel welcome.

and for the record, I bought my SK from www.hero-guns.com, and the USP from a friend who works at Magpul. full disclosure and all.

He misrepresented a few guns to people who were close to drive up over a 1k miles to "straiten things" out with good old Rob!

Very cool. I have a USP Compact 45 and I don't like it much. But if I had a chance, I would buy the stainless. Why? I like stainless.
