well, i bought my first handgun on monday. had it on lawaway for about 2 and a half months and decided i couldn't wait any longer. i've always have been a HUGE fan of HK's since i was in high school. im 25 now. ever since i seen that German design along with the engineering i fell in love. my naive self wanted a Mk23 off the bat. i seen it in a book my cousin had where it was sportin the knight suppressor and the badass concept LAM. but after a few years i realized my hands aren't quite big enough and my pocket book didn't quite make it either. my buddies bought HK's before i had the chance to buy mine. i was jealous but it helped me out in the long run. it gave me a chance to decide what i wanted to get. i shot a usp .40, p2000 9mm, and a p2000 sk .40. liked em all. then i decided to rent the usp compact .4o. then the .45 compact. then i decided to put the compact tactical on layway. it reverted back to my lust for the Mk23 but in a smaller more "affordable" package. i was able to find a range that had ammo but you could only buy their target ammo if you were to shoot it at their range. i shot 50 rds. and im jonesing for more! here's a pic of the beast. oh yeah....it came with the 10 rd. HK 45C mags besides the usual 8 rounders. minus the soft tactical case which they discontinued :(

Nice gun, but can you actually capitalize the beginning of a setence? I had a hard time reading your post. Nice gun though :)

Congrats!! The USP45CT is one of my favorites. Excellent choice droppin zombies.
SteveWK, seriously, you couldn't read what he said due to the lack of capitalizing? WOW! He did have periods at the end of each thought.

voted OP grammar sucked,
BUT, nice pistol and great weapon to learn on, great size. I just got a USP 45C (not tactical) and it is exceptionally well-balanced. and seems it would be very easy to shoot.

Congrats on the first pistol. Enjoy it and shoot safely.
I'm just curious, why is the USP CT "the perfect USP?"

Welcome, thanks for the photo and very nice score, good to see you got a 10 rounder with it! How did the first 50 rounds go at the range?
FWIW, I had no problem reading the post... dang grammar geeks.

great balance, great round, small enough you actually CAN conceal it without being the general shape and size of a wookie, and the tactical just means you not out the extra $$$$ when it comes time to buy your first supressor!!! that and IIRC it also comes with the match trigger, which is always a good thing.

Thanks for the kudos guys. My lack of capitalization was due to the fact that it was 3:30 in the morning and I was tired from work so I said f it and used all lower case. All the grammar was correct. Just lower case. The first 50 rounds went good. A lot of bulls eyes at around 25 feet and head shots. I kept the shots in center line but need to work on grouping a little tighter, which i know i will do next time. All together I couldn't be happier. Need target ammo though. It seems I bought a gun at the worst possible time when it came to ammo wise.

it wasn't just the capitalization... your spelling was pretty bad too! :D

Welcome to the forum. The pic more than compensates for any perceived shortcomings in grammar or spelling. I had no trouble reading the post. If we continue like this albeit in good humor, we will cause some of our non-English mother tongue forum members to refrain from posting and that would hurt us all. PP

Welcome to the world of HK! Thanks for posting a pic of your baby! Glad you didnt' settle for a Ruger, Taurus, or whatever!? I love my HK's, well, and my Sig P6 and 10/22 too! I love buying them and collecting them.
Its an obsession! Hang out here and Soon - you will dislike inferior AKs and AR's, then spell checking everyone, re-engineer house hold items, and buy a Dyson Vacuum, .... then clean instead of going shooting (because that will get your HK dirty!) haha
