Personally, I've found great prices from trusted sellers on eBay. Usually, a few moments search online will yield cheaper results than at a local brick-and-mortar shop.

I looked on their site but that stuff is pretty expensive for just a light and a mount. I was hoping someone found some else where or a different model.
I do know however that surefire is amazing. Tought choice. That $ could be put towards another gun or ammo or Mags.........hmmmmmm.

I'll look into it. Hopefully I will find something.

I REALLY like the Streamlight TLR-1 I just purchased recently. The new model is 135 lumens and MUCH cheaper than the SureFire. It comes with 4 different keys and mounts up tight as a drum.

+1 on the TLR1. Don't know if it's better or worse than a SureFire but it's bright and cheap! TLR3 is coming out too. Less bright but smaller. Good for subcompacts. And even cheaper!

I have the surefire on my USPT and love it. When I can get my mitts on a X400 I'm buying it. As far as finding a different surefire light for a usp, the X300 is really the only option. You can buy the GG&G rail for it which is exactly like the SF one just cheaper. I actually think they are the same rail SF just gets to put their name on one and sell it for more. I've seen the TLR-1 in action and it is impressive, but I wouldn't trade it for my SF. Can't beat the quality and reliability of the SF.

X400:
$455+$90= $550 for a mount (http://www.surefire.com/MR08-Mounting-Rail) and Flashlight!!??
Jeeesus! Wherever you guys work must be doing really well lately!
I bought a cheap G2 LED, and a Vltor SMG 1" quick release Flashlight mount (http://vltor.com/vltor-mountables.htm) with a promag rail to pictinny adaptor. It works on my rifles too, and I use it while working on my car. Bright Audi-headlight Cool blue glow and I still had $400 left over.
