Sent my brand spankin' new .40S&W Expert to HK last night for a Light LEM conversion...

Damned thing is the proverbial tack-driver by the way...

They received it at 10:00 this morning...

I just now - 4 hours later - got a call from Sam, who walked me thru the work he did, told me it was complete, (using the last Light LEM kit they had) and that he will take it up to shipping where it may end up going back out to me tonight - tomorrow at the latest!

I'm impressed, to say the least...

But I thought HK had terrible customer service? ;) That's the crap you always here on some web sites.
They have always been great with me also. You are going to love the light LEM conversion.

When I called in about adding the safety to my LEM USPc, they told me 2-3 weeks, but often more quickly than that. I guess the 2-3 weeks thing is a CYA. Good news to hear it went so quickly.

I'm still not sure I want to drop $250 to add that safety. I'm getting used to it the way it is now. :)

I talked to one of their tech reps on Friday about what appeared to be too-weak mag springs in two of my 15rd P30 mags. Monday I had new springs in my mailbox.

Oh, I know I'm gonna dig the Light LEM...I have an HK45 with the light LEM. Can't wait for them to get the proper parts so they can convert my P30 LEM to light LEM as well...AND...my eventual .40S&W P30...

Same day turn around - with most anything - is unbelievable. They quoted 2-3 weeks...glad they had the parts in stock or it may have been that long...

My wife tells me that my Expert arrived at home today. Less than 48 hours for a turn around from me to them.

Un-freakin-believable!
