I posted in a previous thread that I'm on the fence regarding a NIB 40c Stainless. Anyways, when looking at the pistol, on the right side it has the "Heckler & Koch" roll mark and slightly above the roll mark it has again "Heckler and Koch" in smaller (thinner lettering), slightly offset from the actual roll mark. Almost appears to be a double roll mark but in a different style lettering. Is this a double roll mark or is this normal for the USP?

I do not own any USPs and find myself to be a USP rookie with rookie questions. Sorry that I can't post any pics, the gun is at the gun shop. I just noticed this during my initial inspection of the pistol.

I am new to the Forum, however, perhaps I can help. I have both the USP compact .40 and FS .40 in stainless. Both are AK date code. I have no markings on the right side of the slide. On the frame it is stamped (above and slightly behind the trigger) HK Sidearms GmbH with Made in Germany below that. Definitely does not have HK Sidearms GmbH twice.
Hope I was understanding your question correctly.

BTW - go for the .40 C stainless. They are slightly over $900 here in AZ. You are getting a nice deal.
