P7 Problem

Hey, this is my first post, but I like your forum.

I recently got a P7 PSP, and am having a problem with the catch lever. It always comes loose. Under the grip panel is a post with a little piano wire spring on it. I think one end goes on the rocker but where does the other end go. I have been putting it under the catch lever against a little tab that sticks down. This seems to me like the obvious place for it but after a few shots it always shakes loose.

Any help would be great.
