Im debating buying a HK45 or maybe a HK45C. Are there any holsters for the HK45 that dont require a ridiculous wait to get? I see Galco has holster for the HK45C but like nothing for the HK45.

Can the HK45 fit in another holster like a USP holster or something?

So far you could 'get away' w/ an array of leather & plastic holsters for USP/c that *may*, or already, fit the HK45's.

I have been using primarily Blackhawk carbon fiber molded holsters for my HK45C and other Hk's. The in-hous Hk plastic holster for the full sz is used by a friend of mine and is showing visible slide wear under hard use.

My P30 designed Blkhawk holster fits my HK45C nicely and fits my buddy's full sz, even better. But sticks out at the muzz.

NO MATTER WHAT, all these HK45's are crying out(!!!) for a dedicated duty holster specific for it. I know Safariland has a holster for it, which is an excellent holster, but expensive and I have a hard time figuring out the heiroglyphics of their very complicated sizing chart.

I called Blkhawk about a possible Serpa Autolock Lvl III duty holster (for the HK45's)and basically........'Yea, okay, I'll pass that along to our R&D....' This was last Fall.

Yet, still waiting, and runnin outta patience.

Also Comp-Tac (http://www.comp-tac.com/) makes holsters & mag pouches for the HK45/c and their production time is 10 days. From what I have looked at, only their Minotaur can't be made specifically for the HK45/c, but may work if you get one for a USPf. Also, each order comes w/ a roll of Smarties ;)

Unfortunately, Comp-Tac is the best source for any HK pistol at the moment. They seem to be on the ball in regards to getting molds for the newer pistols. But I personally prefer leather for my CCW holsters.

It depends on what type of holster you are looking for. For a duty holster safarifland makes a few. I use an A.E. Nelson holster for duty because its the only place that I found that made a duty for the hk45 with a tlr-2 attached. I also have a A.E. Nelson pancake for my hk45c with a tlr-2 attached. My department purchased pancake holsters (and mag pouches) from Aker Leather in Calf for both the hk45 and 45c. Also for a IWB holster Bigbore did a review of bluegrass holsters. He had one made for his uspc (I think). I am almost positive that they make them for the hk45 & 45c. I plan on getting one for my 45c when I get the extra cash. Hope this helped.

I recently purchased SAFARILAND Model 5188-77421-411 holster for P226R with M3/tlr-1 holster.

I was curious and tried on these pistols, and it fits perfectly.

-P30 (most likely to fit HK45c as well)
-HK45
-FN FiveSeven.

After that, I bought tons of these.

Does the Safariland fit the Hk guns well, without the light attached?

Try this outfit: www.mitchrosen.com. They have models for the HK45. Rosen's products are outstanding, and the wait time is 8-10 weeks.

Fine leather for a fine gun...
