Alright im an unarmed security guard. Was told by HR that Im going as Armed in the near future. meaning I must now buy a handgun. In the great state of Chicago, handguns are unregisterable. So how does that work?
DO i try to register the handgun (either p2000 or p30 undecided at the moment), send in work ID and copies of TAN and PERC cards?
or
do I just keep it in the case at home, unregistered, and only take it out to go to work/range?
Reason i ask that is confusing me is this....I dont live in a decent part of Chicago. So if someone were to break into my house, and I say, "sorry about the brains" as I cap him to protect my family, wouldnt i be prosecuted for having an unregistered firearm? Even though it cant be registered.
Oh and this is where the quote came from (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVBKJx-6g08 that is a computer AI in an public match by the way)
