I Want A P30LS 9mm

Does anyone have any updated or current information on the availability
of this particular variation?

The P30LS is the longslide version with the ambidexterous safety lever.
Decocker is still on the rear of the slide.

Must be 9mm.

The last reported ETA date was 3rd Qtr of 2009.
That was published back in July 09.

I've read they won't be imported, but who knows?

I've heard everything from 3rd Qtr of 2009, to they won't be imported

This just might be the perfect 9mm pistol.

i agree this would be amazing!!! I had a P30L for about 2 months and got rid of it because i could never get slide-lock, this would be the perfect fix to my problems!!! Other than the slide-lock issue, i loved the gun

Great minds think alike, jbntx. I'm stoked for the P30LS too. Actually I find myself thinking about the USP9f too cuz I can order one of those NOW. But the things that make me go hmmmm about the fullsize USP (ergos, proprietary rail, poly mags, pinchy mag release if'n u aint careful) are all resolved on the P30LS, except for the recoil assembly. I actually prefer the USP double spring design over the nylon buffer.

I do hope Todd is right and we see the P30LS soon. I'm ready!

Where did you get this date? I am not doubting you, I had just read on a couple of threads here that p30s variants would enter the market during 4Q09. So now it's been pushed out? Or was 4Q09 just some rumor?

This is H&K, nothing is ready until it is ready and these "expected" dates always get pushed back. The first we will probably here of the arrival of these is when they start showing up at distributors and retailers. Get yourself some popcorn and hold on tight.

ToddG, Thanks for that link.
I did a lot of searching yesterday and never found that information.

I'm left handed and I definately want one, so it will be a long wait.

P30S: When it becomes available in the first quarter of 2010,
it will be the standard configuration for the HK commercial market:
a DA/SA pistol with thumb safety on the frame and P2000-style
decocker button on the back of the pistol.

The Variant 3 (DA/SA without the safety lever) and LEM will still be available,
but will be marketed more toward law enforcement and military customers.
