Anyone do a .45 conversion for a Mk.23? :480:Conversion for what? Its capable of shooting .45 Super.

Im sure Bill Springfield can make the MK23 sweeter than the Match Trigger already installed in it.

The original poster is right: Mark 23 does not come with a match trigger. I thought this issue has already been cleared. But I do doubt if one needs to have a match trigger for it.

According to HK's own website it comes with a match grade trigger.

I have a Tactical .45 and a Mk23. the Tac is definetely a better trigger in every way than the Mk23. But then again, two different animals and a class all to themselves. I'm not sure why people keep trying to compare the two?? The only comparison really is that they are .45cal. As for HK saying its a "match grade trigger". Not sure what match that would be but its absolutely NOT pistol match grade. My Gold Cup NM Colt, now thats a match trigger.

Just a question. Some time ago, before 2000, maybe like 98 or 99, a friend of mine was looking at buying a Mk23. We went to a gun show and a dealer had a 23 there and a USP-Tac. I thought the Mk23 had a much better trigger. Of course this was 10 years ago and the Mk23 still had SOCOM on the slide. So, getting to the question... did HK make a change on the Mk23 or was I just brain dead 10 years ago for thinking the SOCOM had a better trigger? I own a 45 Tac now and my friend owns a 23, both only a year old. Guess I have to go find out and shoot some HK sweetness.

Sorry. You are right. The HK website does mention it comes with Match grade trigger. I really don't know when they added into it.

Wish I had more insight into this Tac vs. Mark 23 subject.....guess the wife is gonna have to spring for a Tac so that I can have something useful to say.
