Was going to buy a new P30 but couldn't decide between the
P30 and USP compact. (as posted on a previous thread) Well, after listening to advice on the forums and considering the purpose of the pistol, I've decided to go with the USP compact in stainless. I've read older posts on here where people were buying between $500-$600 LNIB. My local gunshop is farely expensive, i.e, the P30 I was going to buy was $899. My question is, what is a fair price for a LNIB or NEW USPc 9mm stainless and what other online dealers are reputable other than gunbroker? I'm new to the handgun world, especially H&K. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't seen a NIB AK date code USP SS in 9mm. Actually, I've only seen .40 S&Ws, but I also know that the AK date coded USP/c .45s exist. The cheapest I've seen for a current year USPc SS .40 was $799.

You will always find better (cheaper) prices online. Most if not all local gun shops will have higher prices in part because of their extra overheads. Dealing locally is more convenient and so you will need to decide what is more important to you - time or money.

As I posted on another thread, I saw USP-9f AND USP-9c both in stainless at a local show this morning, and all six of the SS models were AK date coded.
So they're out there...

do you recall how much they were asking for the AK?

$747 for ALL AS USP's in ANY caliber, and in full size or compact, ALL were AK coded too.

That seems like a good deal...I'll keep that number in mind, thanks.

I wanted a 9mm over the .40 but purchased the first SS USPc I could find, while the "getting was good."
