Is H&K still making USP pistols with the OD or desert tan frame?

I have a fullsize HK USP 45 with the desert tan frame and I would like to find a 40S&W version with either a OD or tan frame but I have been having some difficulty locating one.

I was also wondering if my HK USP would be considered a custom combat. I bought it used and it came with a factory red fiberoptic front sight and black (novak I think) rear sight along with the tan frame with black rubber grips.

No. They made 500 of each in 2004. You can still find them used and sometimes NIB though. I have a LNIB USPc OD 40 for sale/trade in the classifieds at the moment.

I saw one .40S&W desert tan in one of my local gun stores the other day; it is a brand new one. I was not sure if I need to buy it because I want to buy several HKs, and only plan to get 1 or 2 at one time. I later bought two stainless versions of HK for that trip. Later, I have just got a P7 M13, so the .40 was put on the back-burner.

You have described the HK Custom Combat sold exclusily through CDNN around 2004. They came as you described in Tan or OD/ 9mm or .40 cal/Varient 1 only . They also had the HK Jet Funnel with 2 high cap LEO mags that were a milky white. Some owners kept the jet funnel and white mags and sold them on the secondary market less the Jet Funnel. The black HK plastic case they came in, had CC or Custom Combat on the white label on the side of the case with the serial number. CDNN also sold USP .45 with Tan or OD frames at the same time. You can email HK-USA Customer Service with your serial number and they can confirm if yours is one of the HK CCs.
