I was wondering what the general consensus was as two what ammo was better to use in a MP5/40 clone (Vector/Cohaire). Intuition tells me that FMJ ammo would lead to less possible feeding problems than HP/JHP ammo. Again, I have no experience with this firearm, and am looking to get some info before a possible buy.

Thanks

I find that ball ammo seems to work best. Also, the lower power stuff seems to cycle the best in mine. I have shoot a case of reloads that has worked flawlessly. I would say Winchester white box or Remington UMC would do good. I have a low LP, I think it is Lo #24.

I have tried some hot hollow points and every onter bullet had a problem.

I've shot CCI Blazer Brass, Wolf (old steel laquer) & Fiocchi (my favorite).

The Wolf would not penetrate some wood backstops at 18yds.
