Alert service for premium members

Wonder if the BBS software can handle alert service for new posts. It would be nice for an eBay style ongoing search function with email alerts. I would pay extra for this feature.

For example, If someone posts on your thread, it emails you?

I want to have an ongoing search for example, anytime there is a P7M8 posted on the for sale board, I would get an email. There have been deals that I wished that I would not have missed. I don't check this board multiple times each day. J

I agree! I have missed out on alot of good stuff that was for sale while at work or away from my computer :(.

I'll see if its possible. It might be a strain on the server, as technically you have to run a query every x minutes and then email certain individuals if things pop up...

I'll let you all know.
