I have a USPc .40 v1 which I would like to convert to LEM. However I'm "old-school" and still want to have a manual safety.

I've read a lot about the LEM, but have never seen or read about one with a safety which operates like a v9 (manual safety only, no decocker)

Is there any way to have the best of both worlds? The LEM with a manual safety? If so, what part(s) would need to be used?

The second sticky in this forum explains how to do it.

Yes you can have the LEM trigger installed and keep the safety.

If you just remove the trigger and firing pin altogether, you'll really cut the chances of an accidental discharge :P
