I jutst bought a P9S 45 Target that the seller listed as NIB with an IF date code and for some reason the grips have 2 small cracks in them. Seller said that it is from the preservative oil from the factory sitting on the grips for such a long period of time. Seller seems to be a really good guy, but has anyone ever heard of the grips on a P9S cracking because of oil and time? Thanks.

Those guns are OLD. Just dig up a new one. I think the grips are all the same, IIRC.

A pair of Nill Grips would look and feel great on that gun :D

Numrich has new P9s grips for around $25

also, check the buffer, DO NOT fire it without checking and I highly sudjest replacing it regardless of how it looks, they are cheap, $5-6 from HK
