Will I need to buy a rail adapter for my USP to use my Uni Max laser? What is the USP's rail good for if not?

Yeah it looks like you'll need an adapter to use that laser. The USP rail is a proprietary design that was supposed to catch on but never did live up to being called a "Universal" Rail.

look for a GG&G rail. They awesome, well made and very low-profile. Surefire also makes a good rail but is $25 bucks more.

Here is a pic of my USP 45 with GG&G.

Yes GG&G all the way. Slimest and nicest mount for the price.

Thanks guys for the responses. The GG&G looks great.

But what if any lasers are made for the USP rail?

Laser Devices makes the BA-6 for both the full-size and compact. It'll hit you for $345-$370 though.

Thanks.. I will probably go with the GG&G but I still wanted to know. Thank you again.

Is that a Gen II GG&G mount? I have a Gen I mount(I think)and its a lot beefier looking.
