P30v.3

I guess I expected to be surprised by my new P30 from the articles I read, but I didn't expect to find the P30 to be unlike any other H&K that I have fired in the past. Shooting my new P30 at the range was night and day difference than my USP9. I ran 250 rounds of Remington UMC w/o failure. Accuracy was what I suspected, a tad better than my USP9 and Glock 19, while a shade under my Sig P229 and my Walther P99AS, more than acceptable for combat shooting. Now the good part, H&K deserves applause in my book for designing the P30 to be so ergonomic...like butter in your hands. The recoil, almost non-existent (unreal). Mechanically, as smooth as silk for this type of pistol along with a much improved trigger...I forgot I was firing a H&K. Also the hollow sound of the USP9 was gone, not a big deal, but I was happy to hear it gone. All in all I feel H&K will do extremely well with the P30, the difference in price between the USP9 and the P30 well worth it.
