Can any of you guys tell me what brand of suppressor that is on HK's website on the pictures of their tactical model? I want one for my TAC40 but don't really know anything about them. I've looked at alot on the web and that one just looks pretty cool to me. Thanks.

I think itīs the IMPULSE II-A Pistol Suppressor model from Bruegger & Thomet.
See it here... (http://www.brugger-thomet.ch/en/manufacturing/soundsuppressors/pistol.php?pid=317)

Suppressors are not importable. You have to buy one that is produced by a domestic manufacturer. There are many quality cans available. SWR and HTG both make cans that are visually pretty similar to the B&T (and they perfrom GREAT!).
Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions (I carry all the major suppressor brands and have shot them all).

Why aren't supressors importable by a class III dealer?

Kind of the same reason you cant get imported assault rifles (import restrictions). You can probably get them in for military police department use with a letterhead, or something along those lines, but as for civie use, its a no-go.
