Expert Itch

I am new this Forum but not totally new to HKs. I've had USP compacts for several years but now have the itch for an Expert. I'd be interested in hear comments about the Expert from those who have them.

Also, what is O-ring thing? I have not seen that on any other gun. Does it need to be replaced periodically?

Finally do mags for the full size USP work an Expert of the same caliber?

Usually the O-ring will last for about 20,000 rounds, so it will last a while ;) Just make sure thats one of the places you put a bit of oil when you clean it!

Its supposed to increase accuracy, but your honestly talking about groups tighter by 1 or 2 milimeters MABEY.


Yes, the frame of the USP expert is the same frame on the USP fullsize, sothey are completely interchangeable!

Lasts a long time put a little oil on it. The gun should come with extras also

yup what they all said. i have a 9mm and 45 expert and LOVE them!! Awesome pistols to shoot. I have never had any O ring issues, but it also comes with like 3 or 4 extras so I don't think I will ever have to buy one, and if I did they are pennies. I go to my experts when I need a gun over everything else in my safe. if you haven't shot one don't do it unless your willing to buy one because you will want one!
