I was wondering if anyone was using the HK45 for CCW, and if so how's it working out for you? I know there aren't a ton of great holsters out for it yet. I handled one today and love it. I don't think it's much bigger than a USPc in 45 witch was going to be my next pistol purchase. But now I'm back in to the HK45 band wagon!

Only as a woods gun. It is a big pistol and I am a big guy.

I did it once or twice just to see if I could and get away with it. Nobody noticed. Size wise I am about 6'2-3" and 285lbs powerlifter. I wore baggy pants, and shirt. No one noticed that I am aware of and I looked for any printing in the mirror before I stepped out I couldn't see anything.

If they could just contour the current magazine base plate... or better yet market an additional / accessory magazine that held one less round but fit flush with the bottom of the pistol this would be a comfortable and effective CCW. (keep that mag in the gun and carry the full 10 rounders as spares)

I think everyone is aware that an HK45C is in the works.... and just like there are Colt commanders already in existence there seems to be a disproportionate amount of people still CCWing a full size 1911. Hmmmm....

What's Blade-Tech's lag time? Wonder if they'll take pre-orders to let you get in the queue.

I carry it concealed frequently. No issues, and it will only get easier once there are more holsters available for it.

Large pistols take a bit more thought, but anything can be discreetly concealed if you're of a mind to.
