View Full Version : P30 Hammer Question, Safety Question
Looking to go ahead and order a P30 tomorrow...
1) Does the V3 version have a bobbed or spurred hammer?
2) Will a true safety lever be available for the P30, similar to the Hk45, or is the gun not one Ill ever be able to C&L carry?
3) Would I be better served to get this or a NIB Lorcin? ;)
Thanks

The hammer is spurred. There is no safety lever available for the P30.
Well could you tell me why some of the pictures of the p30 posted on other sites show the full hammer?

hkx3, you wrote:Well could you tell me why some of the pictures of the p30 posted on other sites show the full hammer?A spurred hammer is a full hammer. The other type is bobbed.
And, you Sir, made my day. Thanks ever so much,. Ive been so concerned over the hammer shape that I lost track of the terms. Im sorry for the stroke of dumb a ss. Ill try harder next time Boss!
;)
And I ordered the gun anyway, so I guess that shows how concerned i was with it...

The V3 variant has a full hammer, if you're seeing ones with a bobbed hammer it is one of the CDA variants.
There is a thread on the forum here about the P-30S. No word on when they will make their way to the states, but it would seem that a version with a manual safety is either in the works, or already being made.
