Converting my P2000 to LEM

I'm thinking about having my P2000 V3 converted to LEM. Should I have this done by HK, or is it basic enough to do myself? Also, if HK does the conversion, will they install the 5 lb. trigger or the 8 lb. trigger? I definitely want the lighter trigger.

Short answer and the answer HK will give you, it cannot be done. Different frames. If you want the LEM the better way to go is sell the one you have and get the one you want.

Well, that's a shame.

Moving on, I just checked HK's website, and they don't even list a Variant 1 P2000 anymore. So if I bought a P2000 LEM, it would have the 8 lb. trigger, right? What would I have to do to make it a 5 lb. trigger? I almost wonder if it'd be worth the trouble...

I have been looking for a V3 P2000 but haven't been able to find one. If you would consider a trade, so would I - I've put about 500 rnds through the gun. If interested, email with particulars of your gun.
