Nice, great choice for a first pistol. My first was a USP .40 as well, the Combat Comp. actually. :)

No. Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. Full Auto. I will be replacing that with a Micro Tech Halo II or III in between HK's.
And the Compact has an AH date code :D

Next on my list is the P2000 .40 LEM. However, if the HK45c LEM comes out while I am saving for the P2000, then I will get that one. As for the AH = 07. Brand spankin' new!

Thanks for the info on AH. Are you going to buy the P2000 in 357Sig?

Congrats on your first HK! I am sure the wait sucked but I am sure it was worth it. Start saving up as a second one will follow shortly :D.

Thats a great first handgun & first HK. You will now be sucked into the HK cult and be overwhelmed with the urge to purchase many many more!

Congrats...my first pistol ever was a USPc 9mm that I bought about 12 years ago. I still have it today and it's still as great as ever.

I don't know about 357 sig, but I figure if I am eventually going to own a P30 and an HK45C, I might as well get the P2000 in 357 Sig as I now already have a USPc .40
Good idea. Thanks.

Is that a .40? Because the real Jack uses a 9mm.
So you'll have to buy one of those if you wish to keep that avatar.

My first HK was a USP compact 9mm. Good choice there buddy.
Enjoy and shoot the crap out of it.

Yeah, it's a .40. Jack's weapon is either a Variant 3 or 9. I have captured images (I was trying to settle a debate) and it looks more like a variant 3 with a bobbed hammer. I started with the .40 orginally, but then I couldn't find it anywhere for a descent price; cheapest I found the .40 or 9mm in AZ was $799.
Of course, after I had bought the .40 from SCP Firearms, Clyde Armory got the 9mm back in stock for $654. But I am extremely happy with this weapon and Friday I will be at the range firing away :D

Well, it's about time, Gerber.
Now you just have to buy another (either an HK45 or a nice Gov't) in a real caliber... :D :D :D
All kidding aside, congrats and good shooting...

How can you tell which varient Jack has?
And what about the mags...flat floorplate, or finger extension?
I must know these things!

Season 5; 8am-9am, Jack hands his weapon to Wayne Palmer.
I did a screen cap of the scene and lightened the image. Click on the screen cap to see the larger image.
